Last June, a New York appeals court found reason to believe Georgia-Pacific had perpetrated such a scheme and ordered the company to hand over the documents to a judge for in camera inspection.
What exactly is going to happen to Georgia-Pacific? It’s still unclear. However, this beyond careless, as this company appears to have put thousands of people in dangerous contact with asbestos. Toronto homes and businesses should be safe from asbestos, just like everyone else in the world.
